Oh yes, this is absolutely superb! The first release from Pronounce is a quality compilation featuring Decoside, Biodub, Havantepe, Dubatech, Quantec, Lossless, Dominique Jacquinet, Aku Aku, Atheus and Grit. It’s something of an all-star cast of the deep, deep underground and there’s some real care and attention gone into this CD. Packaged in a white tin with a ’quick response’ code sticker on the front which features the track and artist information. I must admit I found it hard to select tracks to sample as they’re so damn fine, so I just randomly picked them in the end. Hopefully they’ll give you an idea of just how excellent this is. There’s a flow and feeling here that’s one part warm, enveloping depth and another part icy cold isolationism. That’s why it’s so appealing to me... the combination just works like a dream. The tracks are atmospheric and very much from the heart - each artist giving a little of themselves away with each piece of music. This is going to fly out, I’m sure, but for those lucky enough to get a copy of this 100-only release, I’m pretty sure you’re going tobe as smitten as I am. 100% the good stuff.
