Get Involved in Mile-High City to Recreate 1968!!

SEE MY LATEST BLOG ON HIPHAPPY TIMES

The Democratic National Convention in Denver brings back various visions and views of the 1968 convention in Chicago. For perspective, I was 16 and living an hour from downtown. Several friends and I were stopped on the expressway from entering the downtown area of Chicago. We went home and missed the action. I am also going to miss this years conventions because I have no funds and must do my thing here in North Carolina.

So I bring you the latest in plans, politics and philosophy from the social activists in Denver. I urge anyone who is close by to join the cause of taking back our country. Denver (and Minneapolis next week) are both among our most tolerant and progressive cities - visited each a few times. Also read about Denver's lax laws on smoking marijuana. It is our country and we must make sure that Obama-Biden fulfill our needs and their promises!! The whole world will be watching - even more closely than in 1968.

That's just sad that we can't even protest near our politicians. As if they are some kind of gods and we are lowly opinionated minions without cash so who gives a crap.

Well if you think that's bad look what the women who oppose Palin got in Anchorage. What's more absurd is that while they chanted drill now over and over nobody mentioned the fact that McCain finished next to last just in front of Paul because he opposed drilling in Alaska which is in the throws of the worst energy crisis in the union.Rural Alaskans pay more than 5.50 per gallon and there are Aleuts that only get theirs barged in once a year and in the Saudi Arabia of coal people are freezing to death. Now McCain wants out of the debate like his services are needed to broker the bail out.Oxford Mississippi is in my back yard and they want to know how fiscally responsible he could be.Since they're one of the poorest states in the union and they've got 5 million dollars invested in the debate he wants out of and of course they haven't recovered from Katrina yet.
The fact that it's a close race makes me think there's no hope
