.... Just a laugh... however, I heard over the airwaves that Twink, AKA Adele King, on a talent show on RTE.. wait til you hear it! She voted as the winner - yes the winner, and for a prize of 10,000 euro - it gets better... her best friends' daughter was the girl voted BY TWINK to win.

So I phoned the Joe Duffy show and gave my own two cents on the travesty - or euro, or dollar if the conversion was worth mentioning (don't mention conversions with the state of our own Rugby team at the moment, I would cry if I cared)

Now , this is not about the child, or her talent or lack of... this is about somebody who is so bent on building her own profile she didn't have the sense of integrity to say "I know this child and her Mother, so I cannot judge this part of the competion". Nope. Twink in all her glory came on our National radio station shouting down parents and concerned listeners all over the country stating "I know better than everyone else when it comes to talent" so there! (so there! is my own little bit, but I feel it fits admirably)

She was phoned by Live Line (I'd assume) and then roared and shouted down everyone on the line saying "I'D DO THE SAME TOMORROW (faux semi-West Brit accent) and refused to admit that what she did was at the very LEAST a conflict of interest.

I rest my case.

Now, what I said, is another day's work on this site, but for now.. I couldn't be arsed going into it..
