I have the most incredible band of family & friends on Earth. I don’t know what I’ve done to be blessed with such loyalty & love. But somewhere, in my life, God smiled and sent favor. We successfully (you can decide what you call success) played The Loft on Broad Street in Augusta this past weekend. Well, maybe I’ll say it this way. We showed up to play and the crowd welcomed us into their minds. In one moment, we looked up from the crowd to see it was four hours & 45 minutes later. They didn’t stop – the crowd nor the band. The crowd came and became our friends. They shared memories, songs & just showed us what it means to be from the south. I think we left some of the original floor and the walls still were left standing. I do know we had such a ball we had to come back the next day for our equipment. It was an experience that many musicians and artists rarely get to see. We took them to the edge and they followed. I guess you should come see us at the next show >> maybe we’ll leave you with “some” of what you originally came with.
