When two powerhouse titles of the gay publishing world get together with two of London's hottest club nights to promote a single party then you know it's going to be something special, and indeed 4Play at Sin last week was stupendous. The magazines in question were Diva and GT, the clubs Play and Discotec, and this was their truly sinful Christmas blow out. In the Ballroom Play djs Sandra D and Lil' Jo rocked with their own brand of indie, pop and RnB mashed together with an anthem or two, while over in the Discotec room it was funky house mayhem from The End regulars. As well as unsurpassable musical treats, we were also spoiled with performances from some of the best acts on the circuit … electro-pop-rock band Molloy performed no less than 6 tracks including their critically acclaimed debut single "Tracy" as well as their forthcoming new single. Star of Sydney Mardi Gras, Sexy Galexy the drag king glamour boi and friends gave us a twisted Christmas medley on spliff while those hirsute honies Bearlesque gave a dazzlingly athletic cheerleaders number followed by a sock-clad stripping santa and a superb Dream Bears finale. Last act of the evening was the divinely sexy Roxy Velvet who had us hot under the collar with her burlesque spectacle – and it was dancing and shenanigans all the way from then til sun up … talk about the best 4Play ever! Wow!!
