After spending a 10 days in the heart of the French countryside with a reel-to-reel tape machine, 4 microphones, and litres of wine and cherry beer, playing gigs in town squares and mini golf courses, as well fitting in some recording in an old cottage, we have come up with a name for our new album - ‘Instant Pleasure’. No doubt the inspiration was the result of an evening’s indulgence on a particularly good St Emillion, but even in the cold sober light of day we are happy with the title.
Five new tracks were recorded in France, including ‘Feel no pain’, ‘Maybe then’, ‘Solider boy’, ‘Release me’, and ‘Perdu’.
