In case you haven't gotten wind of this folks, the collective unconscious strikes again: Forest Whitaker and Jude Law have been signed to star in Universal's "Reposession Mambo." from first-time director Miguel Sapochinik.
According to sliceofscifi.com, "The story, set in the near future, revolves around the concept that artificial organs can be bought on credit. However, if the purchaser defaults on the loan the organ will be repossessed costing the new owner more than a bad credit rating.
If the idea sounds a bit familiar it is because of another little film coming out soon that we reported on in February of this year called "Repo! The Genetic Opera," the adapatation of the stage musical of the same name. "The Repossession Mambo" will premiere just a scalpel's cut before "Repo."
