Where did you begin 2008?
NYE consisted of Same Old [Face] Place for karaoke and then Envy (dancing, more karaoke) ... this was the first night on the town with Amy (and her friend Johnda) although it wasn't classified a date.

What was your status by Valentine's Day?
single; although Amy and I went to Austyns in Ironton and then to see Jumper at the Movies 10.

Were you in school anytime this year?
I graduated in 02 and never looked back ...

Did you have to go to the hospital?
I was at the hospital to visit dad when he had his open heart surgery in August. I'm so glad he is doing better after 5 bypasses.

Did you have any encounters with the police?
We didn't go to 311 this yr. in Cincy, where I always get pulled over for one reason or another. (minus that one $25 ticket summer before last for my passenger not wearing her seatbelt --in her own car I was driving--I've managed to avoid anything major)

Where did you go on vacation?
This yr., I took 2 weeks and both of those weeks somehow revolved around visiting with dad (once in Myrtle Beach the week before his heart attack and open heart surgery) and another the week of Thanksgiving.

What did you purchase that was over $100?
I cannot think of one single item I purchased over $100 ... many little things that added up to way more than that though. The end of 2008 saw a recession come full force causing gas prices to drop, which provided relief at the pump.

Did you know anybody who got married?
A few friends, including 2 bffs -- Jaime & Michael; Cate & Jason; Tiffany & Seth; Jessica & Bob

yes

Did you move anywhere?
Although many times I wish I could take my almost perfect apartment and move it elsewhere ... I have not.

What sporting events did you attend?
MU basketball & football

What concerts/shows did you go to?
Keith Urban/Carrie Underwood (twice)/Kenny Chesney/Leann Rimes = major concerts; plus a bunch of local bands

Describe your birthday:
I was at the beach ... we ate japanese. That is all. I really enjoyed the luau in 2007 though.

What has been your favorite moments?
Spending time with and getting to know AIM, all the get-togethers with friends (although fewer than 2007, still meaningful); concerts (I LOVE live music!)

Any new additions to your family?
nopers -- not that I can think of ...

What was your best month?
I really can't pick ... there are many times throughout the yr. I think back on and smile. If I had to pick a least favorite, it would be August ... when we made an emergency trip to SC to be with dad.

You know my friends? Poor Jaime and Cate have had to sit the last 6 mos. out. haha

Favorite Night Out?
Anytime we get a group together and go sing karaoke, or more specifically, when Joe Prichard played the V. I still miss the Recipe though.

Other than home, where did you spend most of your time?
I spend more time at work than at home. ... why? Because I looooove my job!

Have you lost any friends this year?
No ... I might not get to see some as often, but there's still love there.

I don't make resolutions on New Years ... I just do what I set my mind to do all year long.

Early and often ... but for the most part, I just overlook it. No one is perfect!

No purchases this yr.; I did sell some tickets on it though.

I like to have my 2 feet planted firmly on the ground (in most cases).

no, nothing big; I have a pretty healthy immune system.

Are you happy to see 2008 go?
Hmm, I'd like to be positive here ... but I'm not really big on the passing of time. It is inevitable (anyone seen Benjamin Button?) but I often find myself looking back and thinking of the good times (which maybe I didn't realize were good times then). Plus, I don't want to turn 30 in 09.
