News from America's Second Harvest: Tune into "American Idol"!

America's Second Harvest — The Nation's Food Bank Network has been selected as one of the nonprofit organizations to be featured on "IDOL GIVES BACK", an "American Idol" two-night special to help raise awareness and funds for children and young people in poverty in the United States and Africa. 

"American Idol" is partnering with the Charity Projects Entertainment Fund that will support programs that fight poverty in the United States and Africa. America's Second Harvest has been identified as a future recipient of funds raised through these exciting broadcasts.

During the "American Idol" broadcasts on FOX this April 24th and April 25th, viewers will have the opportunity to help generate donations for the Charity Projects Entertainment Fund. America's Second Harvest has the opportunity to receive funds raised as a result of this broadcast event! We are thrilled to be teaming up with the "American Idol" family to help us end hunger in America!
