I won't say much, til I know more..

The producers are very cool and it's not their fault, so don't fault them.

I didn't have anything to do with Orchestral Files either.
Or that fun deluxe 2 disc edition Orchestral Files.

I really, really don't want to go to jail.
I don't think I'd like it there. Female rappers are going to jail at an alarming rate. I don't wanna go. It's becoming hard to NOT do things that would get me there however.

Gonna go eat some chicken wings. Cause chicken wings always make you feel better.

FACT:
Chicken eaters are 38% more likely to spend time in a correctional facility.
That number increases to 79% if the chicken is fried.

LoL, fucked up, but valid question, seeing as you won't be profiting from it. Makes me think of Chris Rock "only the white man can profit from pain." Sorry tangent.

You're hilarious Jean, your wit and sarcasm are unrivaled, .

I was curious upon why that album snuck up out of nowhere. I'm sorry I brought it up on your comment page, cuz I didn't know. FTR.. it can't touch the actual Jeanius & it gives us more reason to support you & respect you as an emcee. So we definintely don't need u in jail. lol.

She's not talking about Jeanius with 9th wonder. Its a new album called "Evil Jeanius" produced by Blue Sky Black Death.

By the way, keep your head up Jeanie, we all support you/

I'd heard about both of them previously so I didn't pick either up. 2 kudos for Jeanie. Negative 2 kudos for negative industry bullsh*t and half-ass backstabbing labels. And attorneys... They suck too.

Chicken wings make you feel really good because there's usually beer to go with em...

so what do we do here? Should I get the albums because I love Jeanie G music AND WANT TO SUPPORT YOU...or do I boycott it all and stick to downloading because of what the label is doing AND I WANT TO SUPPORT YOU??!!

I know it may be a dumb question but it's like when they released those episodes of THE CHAPPELLE SHOW. Do I buy and support or do I boycott because of what comedy central did and support??

WHAT TO DO??

This is pretty much the same shit Suge Knight did to Dr. Dre & Snoop back when they first got out of Death Row. He'd dropped unreleased material around the same time they had new shit dropping. And they wouldn't see a dime of those joints since Suge owned the masters. I hate now that I bought The Orchestrial Files last year, but I did download the bonus deluxe CD (some singles I already had anyway) & The Evil Jeanius. No regrets. I'll save my money for the Phoenix album.

I'm torn. Part of me want to check it out because, well, it's YOU. And the other side of me doesn't because they did you dirty. Are you at least making money off this? If so, I'll buy it to put some of that money in YOUR pocket. If not, fuck em.

Best album of the year so far, had high expectations on "D.I.R.T." but after being somewhat dissappointed "Evil Jeanius" in contrast proved to exceed all my expectations (not being a remix-album which I thought it was helped)!

Nice going not having anything to do with nothing that might not get you sued!

I think I read somewhere the guys, Blue Sky Black Death, that produced those joints didn't getting paid or have anything to do with it either. Could wrong though. But who knows with the way labels treat artists.

just eat the wings, breathe in and out, and keep on moving.

Yeah, Jean, I knew that you had nothing to do with The Evil Jeanius since it was being released on Babygrande... So I didn't buy it... However***, I couldn't pass up the opprotunity to hear Ms. What What kickin rhymes over some Blue Sky Black Death (I was a big fan of Late Night Cinema). I downloaded it, and reguardless of the label situation, I'm wondering what you think of the final product... Because, in my opinion, it's doooope. Their beats are a lot more expansive and cinematic than what I'm used to hearing you rap upon, and I know that this was a chop shop album of sorts, but, it's a great listen. I've passed out some copies to my fellow Jean fans, and they all dig it as well. Can't wait to hear some NEW Jean material though.... *Patiently waiting ;o)
