Seems along time ago I put forward the idea of doing something regarding a pay per view Web site. And yes, I have mentioned this on random occasions. Well, (drum roll) it is just a stone’s throw away from happening. In fact Saturday night is the witching hour.

If you doubt this reach out and touch your computer and feel the warmth of my sincerity as I tell you, “It’s really going to happen”.

What’s this site all about? I can’t really answer that because I don’t really know. I mean something like this 20 years ago would have been unheard of. Personally, I would never have even thought about it. But in this time it’s different. Reality Television has broken down any doors pertaining to privacy and what they didn’t the tabloid press did. But is it a bad thing?
That all depends on you the individual. I think it could be fun. Without doubt we get to see a different side of the personality in question. We get to prove to the public, “Hey, we don’t need a script to be able to speak. We can walk and chew gum just like anyone else”.

This site allows me talk about stuff that mostly passes for trivia. It’s that everyday information that we just take for granted but accounts for most of our time. It’s just me doing my thing with the kids, the friends, the animals and what I get up to when I relax. You might wonder how someone relaxes when everything you are doing is being filmed? It’s easy. I had a good rehearsal when we did the “Backstage Pass” series on NightShift 2. I had a great time and all of the sequences we did were done at times when the event’s we were talking about had just happened. It was as close to “real” Reality as you could get.

However, the difference here is that you the viewer will have an opportunity to shape the direction of what I will be doing. How? By telling me through blogs. There is a provision for this and I expect you to use it.

There is also going to be some giveaways in a competition but this is going to be detailed separately.

And now for something else. I will be doing a play together with John Reilly, Judith Chapman and some others who are as yet not confirmed. The play is called “You Can’t Take it With You” and is quite well known. It has been made into a film on more than one occasion and will probably be filmed on the night. All proceeds go to the Palm Springs High School theater group who are next year performing in Scotland in a theatrical festival. Oh, and my daughter will be in the play as well, marking the first time we have performed together. This is going to be great and I will talk about it extensively over the coming weeks.
