Here are my words of motivation for you and as always you can either take it in, embrace it and apply it to your life or just let it go in one ear and right out the other.

As you know music is and always has been the soundtrack of my life.  Every song that I have in m possession whether it is on MP3, vinyl, CD or cassette reflects an aspect of my life good or bad.  One of my favorite songs that get me through frustrating times was the late Rev. Paul Jones "I Won't Complain." I'll give you an excerpt of the lyrics of the song:

"I've had some good days, I've had some hills to climb, I've had some bad days and some sleepless nights. But when I look around and I think things over, all of my good days outweigh my bad days and I won't complain."  And then it goes on to say "I've been talked about, but thank you Lord, I've been misunderstood but thank you Lord, the bills are due don't know where the money's coming from but thank you Lord and I won't complain." So with that being said, I know that a  number of you are feeling a bit overwhelmed and under a lot of pressure with school, work, family, etc..  And it's to the point where you are starting to doubt yourself in your own abilities and goals which in turn is really affecting your spirit that is normally positive and upbeat.  But I just wanted to stop by and tell you that even with all the stuff that's going on, you have no reason to complain.  I know that my sound messed up but you'll get it once I explain it.

If you actually sit down and think about everything not just the bad but also the good.  The end result is that all the good things that you got going on in your life (the people in your life that mean the most to you) outweigh the not so good things that may be weighing you down right now. So you should be able to say that "with all the stuff that may be going on I can't complain because all this will be over soon.  Never lose your faith and don't try to compromise it for anything or anyone even if they may say one thing, their actions speak a lot louder.  Prioritize, Patience, Prayer, and Practice are the four things that will keep you afloat in this world along with most importantly your faith.  I can have all the faith in the world in you but it won't mean squat if you don't 100% have it in yourself because of what such and such said or did to you.  Your faith and confidence defines who you are more than material possessions and yes even physical appearance.  Youo can have the most beautiful body on this planet but if you lack that confidence in yourself, they will look at you at just another pretty face that they can manipulate easily due to lack of self-confidence and faith.

So, what is the point of this whole sermon? I know that you have a lot on your plate that you feel that you can't handle single-handedly as if the walls are closing in on you, but you should be able to take a step back and tell yourself that "I know I will get through all of this and be all right because the love and support I have from my friends and family I have the 100% faith and confidence that I'll reach the promised land I set for myself so I won't complain." Just say that to yourself and believe in it and I guarantee you that the sun will shine upon you and you'll be a better person than ever and I can testify to that and that's the quintessential truth. These are my words from my heart, mind and soul to yours.

One Love!
