Martin Lawrie is the dj and record hound behind www.tittyshakers.com .. and www.soulgeneration.co.uk .. websites, he became an obsessive vinyl collector in his early teens. He jointly runs the Rubber Room in Nottingham - a monthly clubnight that plays a heavy mix of rockabilly, rhythm’n’blues, garage and tittyshaker sounds. He has dj’d at numerous clubs across the UK as well as the Funtastic Dracula Festival. Expect a savage mix of wild dancefloor orientated 45’s.

Captain Vics Recordmachine is now in his second decade of spinning 45s only
for nonstop Dance Amusement. With a deep feel for Rockin and Electric Blues
he is mixing a wide range of 50s and 60s Movers, from Bop to Watusi, from
Cajun to Exotica, from Little Walter to Gene Vincent. He is a long time Rockin Events Promoter in Hamburg as well,
used to run the Thunder’n’Lightning RocknRoll Club Hamburg with his best known Party Series: The Rock-A-Billy Allinighter. Put shows together for more than a hundred of bands and DJs from all round the globe. His latest Attraction is the DELINQUENT BEATS Night, combining a Sixties RnB+Soul Floor with a 50s RnR, Blues and Rockabilly Floor for pleasing both: Shakers and Boppers! He was first seduced by the “boots and braces”, and afterwards by the original format of reggae. Since then, early reggae and rocksteady have been his passion, although boss reggae is what drives his selections. Drummer of “The Peeping Toms” since their foundation, and of Laurel Aitken, Rico Rodríguez and Roy Ellis in various tours. Co-organizer of “Boss Sounds to Beat the Ground” (Segovia and Madrid) and resident at the “Cool Reggae Nights” (Soul Club, Madrid), he has selected reggae in many clubs in Madrid, apart from Segovia, Catalunya, Valencia, Galiza, and Seville.
