OK I have been real bad lately about keeping this blog up, and I don't like doing cut-and-paste from my WordPress blog. It feels like I'm doing something bad, know what I mean?
Anyway I did a ride today wearing "normal" clothes rather than bike clothes, and it was like I was towing a parachute behind the bike. Between my baggy pants and my baggy shirt and the baggy T-shirt I was wearing to make me visible I was very slow, even though I was wwearing a pair of unpadded bike shorts instead of underwear (bike shorts help me put out more power). But seriously if I was going any further than the 3.55 miles each way to church I would have started rubbing the skin off my tailbone where the center seam of my pants and the bike seat conspire to rub. That would not have been good, I can say from experience, I had a 242 mile trip (planned) that I had 158 miles I had to do the second day, and by the time I made camp that night I was rubbed completely raw. That was a very uncomfortable camping trip, let me tell you.
Anyway that's all the pointless blabbing I have for today, for more bike stuff go to my other blog on WordPress...
