well, i know im kind of overdue in writing this blog, but now youre playing with powar 6 is now available. you can check out 10 samples of it at my webpage
or you can check out samples here on my myspace page which i'll rotate pretty often. i hope you guys like this record, it's taken me a lot to make it, and i hope some of you will enjoy what you hear enough to buy the 2cd, to be honest there is only about half of the run that i plan to do for this record left, so if you want it, please get with me soon! magfest was a great experience and i think peope very much enjoyed what i tried to do with my performance, playing all new material from this new record.

Now Youre Playing With Powar 6 - Elorgtussy's Favorite Hits is finally available.

a lot of the material on this album is suggestions from her, i also did a lot of music from Konami games as well, stuff that i had been meaning to do for a long time. theres songs on this album that i had started as far back as NYPWP 3, but either wasnt good enough to do at that point, or just didnt feel that i could give my all to, so they're here now for this record. I feel that sonically and also performancewise this is the best thing i have done to date, there are tunes fom many different systems on this record, and that is a new step for me as well. i can only hope that you guys will appreciate the album, i have spent pretty much three months making this record. i know that it was a positive way to cope with my loss, and i cannot help but give my complete thanks to everyone who has helped out with this record, and its been a lot of people. i dont know if i could feasible expect more from myself in making this, but to do this record, and have one record like this in your career, is amazing. sometimes working under duress can give results that can go either way. i think this record went exactly as planned, and i hope that through time it will be able to stand out as my best work for sure. the tracklisting:

this album is $10 via paypal, you can order from the webpage, i wish i could say more about all of this, but i feel that i have paid the price for this album with my body and mind. i feel like i have put all of myself into this record as much as any person could, i can only say that i hope that it is enjoyed for what it is, this record has a lot of backmasking and hidden meaning in these songs for sure. more cowbell, more anselmo, more balls, period. much more anger. this was the most theraputic thing i could have ever done to accept the loss of such a wonderful person, and i think her family and friends understand that.

i also want to take a second here to let you guys know how much it means to have you all as friends, fans, and colleagues. honestly, it seems like just yesterday that i started doing video game cover music, when in actuality its been almost 5 years, i flew out to arizona for the first show i did playing video game cover stuff, and mainly songs from yesteryear. it was at that point that i realized the powar i had to do this, the talent and the showmanship were something i was used to, but in all these years i've kept doing this, and i cant help but to thank all of you for standing by me, buying my records, listening, telling your friends, and basically just being here for me in all of this. it's taken so long for me to get to where i feel like i am now, and i dont think i could have done it without you guys, the minibosses, this community, and the powars that be. you are all heroes in my mind and i will always remember you all.

<P>Wow man, great album. I finally got home from florida and one of the first things I did was open up the CD and pop it in. I was looking forward to it the whole drive home. I agree with you, definatly the best work you've done and you can sense the passion you put into the tracks from both a standpoint of the love of what you do and the tribute to those you miss.... looking forward to the next one...</P><P>keep rockin'</P><P>Joe C</P>
