Last night was chuffin' ace.

Thank you so much to all of you who came down: we hope you had an awesome time... i was, to steal a friend's phrase "smiling so much it was like i'd swallowed a coathanger". or something....

Sadly Ox. couldn't play as Shaun has swine or something... our love is with that handsome man.... Fred Blood-Axe-Wound came out and spun some dubstep though which is always nice....

The Rakes stood in and played a killer set - all killer no filler and really got the crowd worked up before The Young Knives (time to bring back the "The"?) nailed it with the perfect fan setlist (although they forgot to play The Decision!!!!!)... literally from the first notes of Up All Night to the insane "12" Version" of She's Attracted To that they closed with it was so, so cool....

So now, 3 of us are in the office listening to The Amps... the others are at Heaven getting ready for FOALS // TWO DOOR CINEMA CLUB // WET PAINT // JAMES RUTLEDGE.... before an aftershow on home turf at The Lexington.... See you there???

Then more cupcakes and the Union Chapel for Johnny Flynn, Graham Coxon, Jeremy Warmsley, Mechanical Bride and Dan Michaelson....

Bring it on.
