Senator Dick Durbin is a curious specimen. He led the charge on trying to get the senate to pass a bill protecting homeowners and now he's doing the same on trying to protect credit card holders from predatory interest rate increases by capping them at 36%.

My question for the double "D' is in what fucking universe is thirty six percent interest NOT CONSIDERED PREDATORY? 

The current system assumes that of the two parties involved in credit card lending I.E. The lender and the borrower, only the lender has anything to say about how things proceed. That essentially translates into a Predator and prey relationship. I suggest we opt out of maintaining the prey role and take a more active position. Even a lion will back down when faced with overwhelming numbers of wildebeests, and we the borrowers far outnumber the lenders. Its time we organized and started dictating some terms, like an across the board emergency interest rate reduction to FOUR FUCKING PERCENT! Thats right FOUR Fucking Percent! Its part of my larger "Let Predators Eat it" plan. 

Imagine if on a monday morning every card issuer was inundated with registered letters from their borrowers stating that from that point forward they intended to pay no more than four percent interest on their balances. Borrowers would need to send copies to all three credit agencies as well telling them that they can do anything they fucking well want with their fucking credit scores including cramming them up their fink-assed, rat-livered 

rectums, but from here on out the jig, along with their nefarious part in the whole schema was decidedly, up!

I'm going to try to sell this idea to move-on. Its time for a CHANGE! Its time that the eternally debt crippled had some "HOPE"! 

It doesn't look like its comin' outta Washington however.

PS: HEY! Will wonders never cease? The bill was passed! Can you imagine the courage and sheer balls of our representatives beating down the C.C. companies to a paltry 36% interest cap? Make's me proud to be an American I tells ya! A great victory they're sayin'.  Get me on the next train to pukesville. What a dumb fucking country this continues to be. Oh Barack...I hear the mediocrity phone ringing!
