1) Well, The Late Harvest Tour has come to an end, and I would like to thank The Spades for playing my tunes so well and for being all around great dudes.  This is a big, snowy country.  We had a blast, and if you came to one of the shows hopefully you did too.  Watch for The Spades new record dropping in the new year, and a possible Spades/Matthew Barber collaboration down the road.

2) I'm happy to announce that myself and Joe Grass took home the MECCA award (Montreal English Theatre Critics Choice Award) for "Best Sound" in Haunted Hillbilly.  Thanks to everyone in Sidemart Theatrical Grocery for making that a great experience, and watch for a bigger production of Hillbilly in the new year.

3) Our homemade video for "And You Give" (from Ghost Notes) has made it all the way to MuchMoreMusic!  If you like the tune please request it and they'll play it more!  If you're like me and you don't have cable, you can always check it out on youtube.com or here on this myspace page.

4) My sister Jill and I will be embarking on an adventure down under in Australia this December/January.  The tour dates are now posted, so if you live in Australia it would be great to meet you at a show!  If you know people in Australia, let them know we're coming!  We can't wait...

5) Finally, I'm very happy to announce that Ghost Notes will be released in the USA on March 31st through Outside/Red Eye.  In the meantime you can still get it anywhere in the world through itunes.
