We will be playing our last gig of the year on Saturday, October 10th @ Barfly with our fishermen friends Broken Ohms (halifax). Don't miss this show cuz it's the last time to see us for who knows how long, and we'll be bringing out some new material we've been pounding out since we last played Montreal back in June. The reason for the hiatus is a twisted tale, but at the heart of it Chris is having an eyeball removed and will be out of commission for a while (but he'll have a cool eyepatch). During this downtime I will continue to work on the upcoming Super8 Dutch Oven tour documentary under the working title of "Grinding Road" (that's a shitty title but i'll come up with something cooler once the film is complete). Sylvain Pettit is in charge of video editing and Paul Edwards will assist me in scoring the film. It's nauseating, out-of-focus, and completely unecessary mess, so i can't think of any better reasons to put a ton of effort into it and make it happen. We plan on cutting some demos of new songs [Albino Rust....Delusinogens Of Grandeur....Escape Future Failures....Seizures] we have been working on for some time, hopefully at the beginning of October before the blindness sets in. 
On a personal and sad note, a good friend and electronic guru Gerd Weigel passed away not so long ago after a horrible fight with cancer. Rest In Peace. Life is short, whether you live it or loathe it.
