I always speak about knowing what it is you want to find in order to see it. I realized this for myself recently. You hear people say it all the time..."It’s right under your nose." And they are soooo right. The problem is a lack of defining what I wanted. Instead I rejected things that came to me as, what I didn’t want. Even worse, I settled for something until I realized it really didn’t make me happy.

This happened to me in the form of an answer I was trying to find,  but didn’t specify a question. Or when I was trying to find love, but didn’t define what I wanted out of a woman. And even when I was trying to find a job, but didn’t know what I wanted to do.

It wasn’t till I started becoming more specific as to what I wanted that I began to see clearly how it is all right under my nose. I had to change the way I was seeing my life. Every thing is already there. I had to shift my perspective. All I had to do was define what I wanted at a given moment. When you know what it is you want to find, you will see it. If you don’t, how do you know that you aren’t already seeing it? And sometimes it even takes what seems as negative moments, to "see" what has always been there all along.

Look at the FedEx logo(there’s one in my album). I am sure you all have seen it and know it well. But did you know that there is an intentionally placed arrow in it? Now that you know, see if you can find it! I showed it to my artist friend Reba. She told me once she knew there was an arrow in the logo, she looked at the negative space and found it immediately.  Send me a messsage or post a comment if you still can’t find the arrow...I guarantee once you see it, you will NEVER NOT see it the next time you see the logo. Can you use your negative space to find what you are looking for in your life? I dare you!

Here’s something even funnier: Now that I put the FedEx logo in your mind, you will see the FedEx logo almost everywhere you go. It’s not that there will suddenly be more FedEx trucks. But you will now be more aware that they are there! But that’s another Blog...
