I have always been an avid quote finder/lyric reader. I'm starting a blog with my favorites!

You have been my friend. That in itself is a tremendous thing. I wove my webs for you because I liked you. After all, what's a life, anyway? We're born, we live a little while, we die. A spider's life can't help being something of a mess, with all this trapping and eating flies. By helping you, perhaps I was trying to lift up my life a trifle. Heaven knows anyone's life can stand a little of that.

Charlotte, "Charlotte's Web"

TOM GABEL LYRICS
Conceptual paths wide open, I'm scared to death
Existential weight no longer holds you back
Conceptual paths wide open, I'm scared to death
I'm ready for the future, I'm ready for what happens next

Abstract illusions of a free mind
You don't owe anything to anyone
You don't owe anything to anyone

"in the sixties, apartheid was driven out of America. We didn't end racism, but we ended legal segregation. We ended the idea that you can send a million soldiers ten thousand miles away to fight in a war that people do not support. We ended the idea that women are second-class citizens. Now, it doesn't matter which politician holds office. But the big battles that were won in that period of civil war and strife you cannot reverse. We were young, we were reckless, arrogant, silly, headstrong...and we were right.
