I am writing this blog to let people know that our band or whatever is back. Whatever that means is what that means, but the attitude, and desire to play has returned.

...........crickets...........

many times you have seen our band setup our stuff with minimal amps etc and sound like a stripped down version of ourselves. That is not us. we used to do that out of laziness, or cause of our equipment being broken.

And yes we are gonna do covers to make some extra cash. Why ? Because we need the money and would rather make money playing music then by working at Starbux on the weekends. I wanna have some extra cash around to buy another synth or effects box. I love shit like that, it inspires me.

So you think we are selling out if we do covers? Well given that we have never really made any money anyways how can you say we are selling out? Seriously how many stupid bands worry more about 'not selling out' than making music that they like? You think that your 'sound like everyone else music' is so pure and awesome that doing this or that would make you a sellout? Cmon. If Warner Brothers handed you 100 grand to wear a pink skirt in a video, you would do it. Then you would have 100 grand to buy a tour bus or whatever. Besides you already look like all the bands that have personal stylists anyways. I mean you bought your clothes at Hot Topic if your Metal or goth right, or the thrift store if your grunge? Your non sellout clothes made someone a lot of money!

I will define what sellout is ok?
If you change your music to fit into something that is not from yourself, or because you are getting paid to do it, THAT is selling out.

Besides its pretty easy to see phoniness anyways.

You cant expect to change styles of music to fit a genre of music thats selling well and expect to be any good at it. The people who have been breaking ground with that type of music have been doing it for years, and you think that you can do it as well? I don't think so.

So we are in Boot Camp right now doing what musicians ( is that what we call ourselves?) do, practicing, learning just how bad we suck all over. trying to get self illusioned enough to where we actually think we sound good. Pffft.
