I think it to be time I posted a new subject here. I've been doing music as ministry since becoming a christian in 96. Now rather or not that was professional(which it wasn't) is of no importance..... really. However, because most peoples ability to hear, listen to, understand you or not, is based on time you've been around and not the calling on your life to deliver the LORDS message.... "Because the the lord only speaks through skilled orators and minstrels"(not to be confused with menstruals) and he would never choose people who are imperfect, and flawed to deliver his perfect message. And GOD forbid the notion that HE would ever have any thing to do with sincere individuals who act out of there faith in obedience to HIM with no compromise.... I take this route. Are we as CHRISTIAN artist doing artistry as artist first or as christians, and if CHRISTians then why isn't Christ the complete, only, and truly all encompassing reason for which we stand doing this. Why do we choose to make schemes, molds, patterns, agendas and the like, then try to fit HIS message in them, instead of preaching HIS message, so that man can find their way to fit into HIM. Now of course, we need to be all things to all men that we may win some. That does not mean that we act blindly in our pursuit to win em... so let us carefully consider how we reflect HIM to a dying world. Then once that is done we must cast our Fear, Doubt, Impoverished mind, Religious and traditional selfishness, high mindedness, low mindedness, prejudices(not only racial, any and all) aside and Matthew 28:18-20, Mark 16:15-18 Jude19-25 the WORLD.
