Alright gang, we've got some words for you all. Thanks to all you guys who came out to the Beat Kitchen show on Saturday, July 25th and partook in one of the hottest (literally) shows we have ever played. After playing our set to a sold out Beat Kitchen crowd, we rang out our shirts full of sweat and spent about two hours each, laying in ice filled bath tubs to try to cool down. It was a furnace. Thanks to the bands that played with us. It was an awesome hometown show.

In other news, the new album is totally finished and waiting to kill all who hear it with its sheer awesomeness. We have been hearing that rumors are going around that we scrapped the whole project and started over, but this is NOT true. The real reason for the delayed release is because we have been in negotiations with record labels for the past few weeks and trying to get that in place so we can get it out to you in the best way possible. We are shooting for an early 2010 release. We are extremely excited about it and can’t wait for Flatfoot fans to get their ears on its goodness. Expect some good hard-hitting tunes with a number of tracks featuring both Kyle and Justin’s vocals as leads.

We have also been hitting the festivals this summer with some great shows full of chaos and mayhem. We hope to have a short video soon which covered the events of Cornerstone Festival’s insane fiesta show, which literally almost took the tent down. A few weeks later at Sonshine Festival in Minnesota, a rowdy moshing crowd ended up destroying one metal band's merchandise table in the back of the room just by circle-pitting too hard. The band took it pretty well and told us later that it was the most outrageous experience they had seen in a long time. Thanks to all of you guys who come out to these shows ready to have a good time.

We also would like to wish our bagpiper Josh, and his future wife Alicia our best wishes as they get married on August 8th. The Flatfoot family seems to be getting bigger these days, which only adds to the fun. We are all very excited about Josh and Alicia’s future together. Congrats!! Talk to you again very soon!
