Saturday 11th October - Cornerhouse –1.45pm £5.00/£3.50

"If this is what being a bird is, I'm proud to be one" – Joanna Lumley, BEV Patron

"One of the highlights of my year" – Juliet Stevenson, BEV Patron

Join us for a one-off afternoon screening of the best women filmmakers from the UK, with a special North West focus. Feast your eyes on innovative films, and be inspired by an in
depth discussion with successful women filmmakers from the Northwest. Plus live music from local talent Kathryn Edwards and a chance to connect and network with industry talent.

Birds Eye View celebrates international women filmmakers: a positive response to the fact that only 7% directors and 12% writers are women. BEV produces the UK's leading women's film festival in London each March, year-round touring events, training initiatives and the First Weekenders Club to promote cinema releases written/directed by women.
