Countdown to Pride!
Attention all Queer & Allied Youth: Want to meet new people and kick off Pride weekend in style?
If so, join us at Lambert House for Summer of Love: A Queer youth Pride Celebration- Open House, BBQ and Dance Party! This Saturday, June 27th.
From Noon-6PM, enjoy music, good conversation, and arts and crafts workshops!
12-3PM: BANNER MAKING- take part in creating Lambert House’s new banner with sewing and designing! Be sure to march with Lambert House on Sunday to show off your skills.
2-5PM BUTTON-MAKING: Wear your art, make a statement or both with Shannon from Sex, Dating and Relationships!
2-5PM: TIE DYE- Bring your own t shirt or use one of ours to create psychedelic, awesome threads! Rock them in the parade the next day!
3:30-5:30PM: KNITTING!- Lambert House’s own volunteer Michael will introduce you to the trendy craft of knitting. Bring your favorite knitting needles and yarn if you have some!
Get your pride parade outfit ready with buttons, tie dye, glitter cowboy hats, and more!
From 6-8PM, Enjoy a BBQ and Live Music featuring guitarist Ziggy and other notable guests.
The Fun Continues with a DANCE PARTY from 8-Midnight. Dance the night away and enjoy decadent desserts! DJ General Meow of Bromance will be spinning all night!
