Hello Friends, Fall is upon us and many exciting things are happening.
The Leviathan Brothers will be putting out their second record with Red Rockets Glare Records. Catch them at the Jazz Bakery on October 7th.
Raymond just finished producing a record for Orange County wonder-kids Local Natives and a concept album by Marvelous Toy.
The Exfriends new record has been nominated for a San Diego Best Pop Album of the year award and was co-produced by Raymond.
Wendy has been busy starting new bands such as The Californian and rocking in her own band, The Sweet Hurt supporting her new record and winning fans and friends.
The new Monolators record, produced by Raymond is about to drop and the band rallied most of LA together to be voted on to the Detour Festival on Oct 4th.
The studio has some new toys, like a Vox AC-15, a vintage Coles 4038 Ribbon microphone, a Deagan Marimba from the 40's and a new custom made tambourine that will blow your mind. I took a bunch of pictures and posted them on this page. Take a look and make a comment, or crack wise if you must.
I am working at the studio full-time now, and things around Rancho Park are only getting better, so come on by and have a mid-day beer with me some time, I'm around.
