The EttaDiem.com site is the online store for Myke and I. I've been stocking it full of various odds and ends, including a full and to the point portfolio for myself. I love my main website and spend a lot of times thinking of ways to make it more of a labyrinth, but this is at the expense of people asking me if there is a place where they can just go and view my artwork. So! I did. And eventually I'll mirror it on my website. But in the meantime, all my old art, new art, projects, fiction, web designs and what have you are being added to the above portfolio. Please have a look and feedback would be nice.

I'm also doing a fire sale of drawn prints to help finance that pesky hospital bill I just ran up. Other than that, same ole same ole. I'm just waiting for my new book to arrive and a reorder of the first so I can get those orders filled and put it back up for sale. Coilhouse gave me a linky and that helped crash my pre-sale, geeee. Many thanks to them. Anyway, this is a boring post basically just trying to get you to go look at my new web page and perhaps buy my doodles. In my defense, they're very nice doodles. *Doodles keep the doctor away. Doodles protect you from under the bed monsters. Doodles will help you lose ten pounds in two days. And doodles will help you find the love of your life. Now, how could you not want to own a doodle?

This is the commissioned piece for Rasputina. Sadly Melora can't use it as of yet, but it is a card in my tarot deck. I'm hoping for the chance to meet up with her this summer and do a proper portrait. Color me tickled. Toodles doodles.

What was your recent stint in the hospital? I'm trying to sell everything I own and put the rest in storage next month, and crash on peoples' couches. So look out, here I come (warn Myke). Only joking on imposing on you two. (c;

I went into the ER for what seemed like a never ending bout of the flu and serious side ache-ees. Turned out that something more serious was going on and they admitted me to the hospital and spent a week pumping me full of steroids, painkillers, antibiotics, potassium, and other good stuff while running more tests. It was not a happy time. But I got a killer stuffed squidee out of it from my gentleman and that almost made it worthwhile.

We have no couch! Actually, we have a single wide day bed that we've used pillows to extend it two feet so we can both just fit in it to sleep. Given that you're even taller than Myke (and Myke is freaking tall to begin with) we'll have to balance you on the day bed's back board and tie your arms and legs to the ceiling so you don't fall anywhere. Yes, I think we could fit you in there!

It was indeed a long time ago. That was one of the best cd packages I ever got and really helped start my Rasputina obsession.

I wrote her. I told her I was a huge fan and wanted very badly to have her permission to do a portrait of her, as well as another idea I had in mind that I solicited. She liked my work and was in need of some cover art for a Christmas cd and let me take a whack at it. Sadly I misunderstood what type of art she needed and gave her this full color thing instead of line art. I asked her if I could use it as a tarot card and she was gracious enough to say yes. She was super nice.

I'll have to give you a poke, it's been awhile since we last talked. I just got a memory of the one phone conversation we had. I was making my ex dinner and carrying it up to him as we gabbed on the phone --and I remember dumping his plate on the floor. I was so pissed at him at the time, I put all the food back on the plate and just threw it in front of him without telling him of its floor scramble. I think he might have actually ate it. I almost feel bad about it years later. Almost ;)
