Because it really does matter to me. I'm not a model primarily. I generally work full-time and then some. What I really enjoy is behind the scenes work. You may wonder, how is this possible when you are in front of a camera MODELING. Well, I usually conceptualize my undertakings, do the styling, provide wardrobe, and often times do the hair/make-up as well as photo editing. It's like any other art I pursue, singing & songwriting, writing poetry, journalism. I just feel compelled to express what I envision in my mind, it's a bizarre form of communication.
My work is not necessarily sexy glamour or traditionally pretty, but it isn't about compliments or making someone salivate or think dirty deeds. It's art. I'm an art model. Complex Fashion and strange unsettling beauty are a driving force.
I hope one day to work for a fashion magazine, either as a stylist, photographer, editor or writing contributor or all (if possible). I'm also seeing if I can assist in film production in some respect. Human interaction has always been enjoyable to me, I like structure, detail, organization and just generally causing a progression, making things happen & figuring out how to move forward without complications, kinks etc. It's a challenging puzzle that I want to do every day.
