For those who know me, you know that I have the spirit of a 10 year old in the body of a 29 year old. On top of it, losing my mother to cancer has opened my eyes to the pain and struggle that people go through on a daily basis while dealing with this, and other diseases. It is an amazing battle to watch an adult fight and to imagine a child struggling through it is heart wrenching.
That's why I am so very excited to be participating in this AMAZING event called the CHOC WALK.On Sunday, October 19, I will be one of over 12,000 men, women, and children of all ages joining together to support Children's Hospital of Orange County (CHOC) during a Sunday morning stroll through Disneyland.This year promises to be a spectacular event! I am helping CHOC in its mission to nurture, advance and protect the health and well-being of children by walking in this year's CHOC/Disneyland Resort Walk in the Park.
