Hi,
How is everyone doing? We are doing well, just wanted to let you know of a showcase we are putting on this weekend at the Drunken Unicorn in Atlanta. The Close, The Orphins, The Blue Hour, and The Press are playing and it should be a great night. The Other Sound is co-sponsoring it, and next year's fest is starting to be put together already! The details are; Saturday February 11th @ The Drunken Unicorn (Atlanta), 9pm, $6. Here is a flyer for it.

The Blue Hour has a new bass player (Tracy Clark) and they will be playing a quiet set at A Cappella Books this Thursday (February 2nd) at 8:30pm. They will be playing some new songs as well as some old songs that have not been played out in over 5 years. It is an early show, and they are the only band playing. So get there by 8:30. Here is a flyer.

We will be putting out a 7" by SIDS this summer, and just did a live video shoot/audio recording of their show last Friday. We will be including some portions of the show, or possibly the entire set, in the form of an enhanced CD to be included in the vinyl packaging when it comes out. We may post a song on our site before it is released, so stay posted.
The Press just finished up recording two singles for another 7" we will be releasing this summer. I heard the first track and it sounds fantastic. It was recorded by Will Loftin at Shangri La. As soon as we have some artwork this should be getting sent out for manufacturing, I will post a release date as soon as possible. They also have a fair amount of shows coming up on East coast, the dates are at the end of this email.
The Orphins are also finishing up tracking for their next full-length. All that is left are some more vocals, mixing, and mastering. This album should come out sometime this summer, or possibly early fall. We are super excited, the new songs are heading in a refreshing and new direction.
We have new t-shirts for Askeleton and The Orphins, and they should bu up on our website in a few days. Also, Don't forget to pick up a copy of the The Rosebuds LP, Birds Make Good Neighbors, and a copy of Askeleton's Happy Album if you have not already done so. They are both amazing albums that we are very proud of. Click an album cover to purchase.
