Redwood Raks World Dance Studio is in the Old Creamery building in
Arcata near the Recycling Center. The Studio is located at 824 L Street
in Arcata between 8th & 9th Streets facing L Street. Redwood Raks is at the end of the courtyard off of the parking lot.
If all else fails... stop & ask for directions ...
or drive around looking for lots of people in black & white attire/costumes & ask them where they're going....
or listen for the loud beautiful ruckus of Samba Music from sambAmore beginning at 7:45pm until 8:10...
or look for clowns & jugglers until 8:30....
or open your ears for the sounds of Bandemonium from 8:30 to 9pm....
all of these acts will be outside to help you find your way & welcome you in to our evening of entertaining celebration!
As well, The Ya Habibi Belly Dancers will begin at 8pm,
Follwed by DJ Knuts, VJ Rhet Bice, & Aerial Artists.
Next in line is Akabella, then more DJ/VJ fun.
Headlining Act, Ishi Dube, will rock us with some roots reggae for a good long time,
then sambAmore & Bandemonium will combine efforts to wrap up the evening & send us all home full of rhythm & love!
