As some of you know, Joel Williams has decided to take it easy and retire from drumming.  He will still be an honorary member of Down2 Five (drummer emeritus).  We wish him the best and we will miss his killer drumming. 

Despite the sad news of Joel taking on retirement, at the same time we are pleased to announce that Walter Polk (Yankee Dime, Lash Laroo w/ Robert Johnson, Post, Jaguar w/ Pat Taylor, Larry Raspberry and the Highsteppers) will be taking over the role as drummer in Down2 Five.  He currently plays every other Thursday at Neil's for the Memphis Blues Society.  We're looking forward to playing more gigs with Walter, and we'll see you out on the circuit!!
