Wow... only one memory? Several memorable times come to mind: Seeing Riders In The Sky for the first time back in the eighties. B. W. Stevenson in the eighties. Allen Damron's many wondeful performances throughout the years. A thunderstorm during a John Vandiver set in the eighties that eventually sent us all running for higher ground! In 1996, after being absent from the festival for about 10 years, I was able to come back and bring my sons (then ages 8 and 6) for the first time. We have been back every year since. Limpopo! Trout Fishing In America. 2005: We had a flat tire when we left the festival grounds one night, and two of the artisans from the festival happened by and stopped to help us - so nice! 2005: Terri Hendrix stole the night with her amazing set, and then Ruthie Foster stole it again with another amazing set.
