Current mood:  cheerful
Hey there everybody!!! So I posted a bulletin a couple of weeks ago saying that I was gonna post a blog with tons of my favorites...so here goes nothing! I’m gonna break it up into different subjects...hopefully this won’t bore ya’ll to tears.....

Music:
FAVORITE SONG TO BLARE WITH THE WINDOWS DOWN??
I’d have to say that my favorite song to jam out to in the car right now is Low by Flo Rida featuring T-Pain....it’s got such a great beat and what can I say, I’m a little ghetto...ha! =) "Shawty got low, low, low, low, low...."
FAVORITE SONG TO WORK OUT TO??
Mary J. Blige’s single Just Fine and Natasha Bedingfield’s Love Like This.
FAVORITE SONG TO LISTEN TO WHEN I’M JUST CHILLING OUT??
Well, my favorite new artist right now is a guy by the name of James David Carter. There’s this song called Let’s See What Happens...it’s a really sweet song that has a good groove...it’s at the top of my list at the moment....you should check him out. He’s in my top friends and he’s SUPER talented....OR go to www.myspace.com/jamesdavidcarter
FAVORITE CURRENT ALBUM?
Carrie Underwood’s Carnival Ride....I LOVE her ballads...I love to belt to them at the top of my lungs....but only when I’m by myself....haha!

Books:
EAT, PRAY, LOVE by Elizabeth Gilbert
BLUE LIKE JAZZ by Donald Miller

Movies:
P.S. I LOVE YOU-I’m a helpless romantic, also known as a sucker for a good cry...ha!
THE BUCKET LIST-This movie is a great and the theme song should be Tim McGraw’s Live Like You’re Dying....enough said.

Activities:
WII-I am hooked on playing this game when I’m home with my roomate...we get in really competitive tennis matches and it gets ugly sometimes....it’s great!
WORKING ON MY FITNESS-relieves STRESS....enough said.
WATCHING DVDS ON THE BUS WITH THE BOYS-we are constantly watchin The Office, Entourage, Dave Chappelle....I live in a guys world. I’m the only girl with 8 boys, so I’m constantly praying that they just remember to put the seat down...it rarely happens...boys, boys, boys.

Food:
SUSHI
PEANUT BUTTER CAPTAIN CRUNCH
MANGO
CABERNET SAUVIGNON

FAVORITE PLACES I’VE BEEN SO FAR ON THE ROAD WITH LADY ANTEBELLUM???
SEATTLE, WA
PORTLAND, OR
SAN DIEGO, CA

FUNNIEST MEMORY BEING ON THE ROAD WITH CHARLES AND DAVE SO FAR???
One day we were on the bus and we were taping some footage for one of our crazy road videos. I decided I wanted to give a tour of our bus....well, Charles and Dave were both sleeping and as I was showing the camera the bunk area where we sleep....I got to sneak up on them both taking a nap...they got REALLY irritated at me, but I LOVED every second of it....luckily, they haven’t gotten me back yet...ha!

MY DREAM VACATION?? MAUI

FAVORITE THING ABOUT MY JOB??
I love getting on stage in front of all of YOU and singing my heart out....I also like doing stuff like this and giving ya’ll a little inside view of who I am....which is most of the time a big DORK!!! =)

I hope you all got a little laugh out of this little blog, which turned into a LONG blog...but I’m bored on the bus....this is what happens on the lonely road....ha!

I CAN’T BELIEVE OUR RECORD IS COMING OUT SOON....APRIL 15TH!!!! WOOHOO!! ALSO, YOU CAN PRE-ORDER IT ON OUR WEBSITE www.ladyantebellum.comLOVE YOU ALL!!!

love the blog Hilary! It's nice to know a few behind the scenes things about you guys. Especially when it is coming from YOU and not someone at ur label piecing together some info for us.

Since you're stuck on the bus with guys watchin Dave Chapelle and The Office.. switch it up on them and pop in "Dane Cook"- he's an awesome comedian, very funny. www.danecook.com or www.myspace.com/danecook!

See ya in North Carolina hopefully SOON!!

Glad I stopped by to read the new blog. I was shocked it was a long one but it was fun reading it. I'm glad that you had a great time in Seattle, Wa and Portland OR as I'm heading there in a week for a little weekend get away with a friend. We are flying to Seattle to hang around for a day and a half and than drive to Portland. So I was glad that these two cities were on the favorite list. :) Not sure if you were able to tour these city but any suggestions what to see?
I have to agree with carrie underwood cd, love singing outloud by myself too. I guess after April 15th I will be singing your guys songs, haha.
Get to hear from ya on the road. Continue having fun on the road. Not sure how your handling it all with 8 boys but I give ya all the credit. Stand your ground girlie. :D

Like I said in my friend request - I'm a little late but just realy getting plugged into you guys. But your comment about "The Bucket List" - is about to come true. You could say I'm semi-connected to the country music world. About 5 years ago I won the Nashville Talent Search in Ga. - which opened some really big doors,.....but I was newly married and walked away to keep the home life happy - and I have absolutely no regrets, but I made alot of great contacts in a short period of time that sill keep me informed.

One of the major networks have been working with Curb records and Tim McGraw to release a show this spring called appropriately enough "Live Like You Were Dying" where the network will take the last will of terminally ill patients and let them "live like they are dying" - Of course Tim's song is the theme song - rumor is that Jeff Probst from Survior fame is the executive director and may host the show. Should be out Spring '09.

Also - If you're really bored,......I now sing with a Rock-A-billy-Country-Contemporary-Soul-Southern-Gospel group,... you can check it out at www.myspace.com/silvercityqt - check it out if you get a chance and let me know what you think!

God Bless!

Hey just wanted to tell you how cool I think it is that you actually post things like this for people to read. It tells me that you (and the guys) are probably really down to earth and haven't let the stardom go to your heads. I really get iritated with people like that, makes me wonder what kind of people they were before. You seem really cool, like someone that I would hang out with :) KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!!

Hi, I've liked you guys since the album first came out.  Saw you at "CornFest" in DeKalb, and it was great.  Hillary, when I saw you come out with your hair back, I wondered if there was a new girl in the group, but I figured it out.  You guys have a refreshing sound and I enjoy all of you.  (and you're the prettiest of the bunch).  Come to Illinois more often.
