I've never seemed to be one big on the "L" word.
Love... but trust me, I am.
Everyone misunderstands me on this.
If you said that word to me,
I'd probably tell you to not use that word or just not talk to me.
I'm tired of it being oversaid and underused.
Pretty hateful and painful things have been done to me with the saying of that word.
But I want someone to mean it, of course.
I want someone to put some action in their words.

So yeah, for girls I aint the type to date back to back.
If I say you're my girl,
I have no pity for you and I think you are the shit.
That's how I do and I don't do it often.
Used to a dream girl was the hottest thing that crossed me.
Long blonde hair, gorgeous eyes and a nice body.. that did it for me.
But the whole sexual attraction thing can't lead a good relationship.
I learned that the hard way and I pay for it everyday still.

But now, where am I?
I want to meet a girl that is the real deal.
Not just gunna date me cuz I'm the next cute guy,
But cuz she'd been looking for someone special for a long time.
I don't want a girl that doesn't have standards,
I don't want another one that will just say yes cuz she don't know what else to say.
I want a girl that I can look at, as an equal in a relationship,
Not have to pattycake their butt cuz they're a little emo kid.
A girl that can say no and be assertive,
That can say yes and know why.
More of an old fashioned type,
That can have a good time without getting "fucked up".
That has respect for people and loves God or at least RESPECTS MY GOD.
No, I don't want Ms. Perfect or a Bible thumper,
But I sure as hell don't want the sleezy idol of a girl Hollywood makes out to be perfect.
I don't want big breasts, I want a big heart.
Yeah, it'll have to be someone I think is pretty,
But that's the last thing I'm looking for,
Looks is easy to find.
Finally, it has to be someone I can trust.

So, if you're someone that wants to be with me,

Then back off.
I'm tired of wasting my time on girls,
The kind that use guys to make them feel better about themselves.
The kind that say they're in love everytime they meet someone interesting.
Say all the sweet things you want, it might make me feel all good inside.
But if you want my trust and my heart, you can prove it if you got the time,
And the BALLS to be REAL. (Figure of speech)
