In a couple of weeks I start mixing the next five tracks for my new album (for which I still don't have a title, by the way). Someone suggested Housewife Superstar, which I thought was absolutely brilliant until I discovered that Dame Edna Everidge calls herself that!
Any ideas anyone..?
The week after that I'm off to Dubai for a few days with Frank Mead www.frankmead.com (my sax player) and Gary Sanctuary (keyboard player). We're just doing a couple of after dinner gigs in a posh hotel (the ones I swore I'd never do!) but with any luck there'll be time to get a bit of a suntan on our pasty English complexions!
I love reading all the messages in the guestbook on my website and on Myspace. I'm very lucky (and flattered) to have so many lovely things said about my songs. Thank you!
Lee Noble and Alan Clyde (who set up and run my websites) should shortly be getting some more up-to-date photos of me. It's been a while since my last photo session...all kind comments very gratefully received!
