We thought it was about time to give you an update from the KNO headquarters. Our initial plan was to start recording the fundament and main structures for the second KNO album this summer, but due to other commitments we are sorry to announce that we won't be able to make it this summer or in the near future for that matter. Our glass sphere is kind of blurry too, so we can't tell what the future brings...

Some of the reasons why we're not able to make it is the fact that all of us lives quite far from each other, and we all have our "daily life commitments" to attend. KNO isn't just another collaboration project that's making music by emailing ideas back and forth. We believe that the essence and "magic" is a result of the fact that we’re all present at the time when the fundament is being built and the recordings take place. That's what the whole KNO philosophy is about, exchanging ideas, improvisation and working in real time as a democratic and somewhat anarchic unit.

Meanwhile, you would be smart to pick up the Negru Voda's "Våld De Luxe Promo Appertizer" (limited to 100 copies only) if there’s some left, and Megaptera's "Staring Back At You", both released by Malignant Records. Malignant Records will also release a Negru Voda 3 CD box set, entitled "Våld De Luxe", well worth the wait by the end of the year.

As a final part in the V:28 saga, the remix CD "Total Reconstruction" was released last year by Cold Meat Industry, and is definitely worth checking out. Megaptera; Nordvargr and des Esseintes among the artists who contribute on the CD. There's also a lot of videos and audio from the "World Wide Bombing Tour 2008" available for streaming and download.
