A troupe of minstrels led by one of poetry's most distinctive incomprehensibles; whose members rotate faster than anything in a Nasa test centre; which has included two ex-wives and one current of the lead vocalist; which has released more records than their frontman has teeth. And anybody who knows the band has heard Mark E. Smith's infamous line anyway: "if it's me and your granny on bongos, it's a Fall gig.".."
