There's something about Limavady gigs where as soon as you enter the venue the timezone changes, Limavady Standard Time (LST) is +2 hours to the official start of the gig.

Luan Parle arrived fresh from her appearance on the Late Late Show, to a completely empty hall.  A very very empty hall.  A scaryingly "is anyone going to show up" hall.  Part of me should be used to this running late thing, but tonight it was just a case of the gig-goers of Limavady town not showing up until 10pm.

Soundchecks complete we waited, and waited, and waited.  Stevie came over to me, "they're jamming in the dressing room".  Justin Black, Gavin Ralston and Luan were jamming Stones songs, a bit of Johnny Cash and others.  In a confined space I started to shoot away.  The dressing room is the most un rock 'n' roll dressing room I've ever seen.  I've shot the Kiss tribute band "Hotter Than Hell" in the very same dressing room with the same veneered wood results.

At 10:40pm Justin went on and blew the small crowd of 20+ away.  Just plain awesome.

Tonight's backdrop is the default RTV white.  I gave up using flash and tried to get as many shots with a blackish background as I could.  That limits you to not very many viewpoints, but nonetheless ones that I could work with.  Justin in the shadow of Hendrix, awwww it just works.

Luan went onstage at 11:30pm and I just grabed a load of shots and went using the three song rule.  She sounded great, so did Gavin, I went home and drank wine.....
