Sunday again. And we're….how many days from Christmas?…Crap!….exactly ONE MONTH!
Jesus, where does the time go? I swear this year has just flown by. Time really does speed up with age, doesn't it?
I know it was Thanksgiving in the US this week. It got me thinking about what I'm thankful for. Here's my list:
1. Writing. This time last year I'd never even considered writing as something I'd like to do. I started writing in April 2007 (I think) and since then I've written loads!
2. I'm thankful for all the wonderful writers I've met online. I'm thankful for critique partners who have pointed out my weaknesses and my strengths. I'm thankful for the ability to improve my writing every day.
3. I'm thankful for the best family in the world. They are seriously wonderful and didn't bat an eyelid when I told them I was writing erotic romance.
4. I'm thankful for my health. No illnesses yet (though I could do with losing a bit of weight)
5. I'm thankful for my job. Something I can do and have fun doing.
6. I'm thankful for my new laptop. It's so purrrrty:)
7. I'm thankful for Romance Divas who provide everything a romance writer could ever need.
8. I'm thankful for good editors who make you a better writer. (Michelle at Freya's Bower, I'm talking to you!)
9. I'm thankful that I have a good life, and that I've been blessed in so many ways.
10. I'm thankful for Bones. A spectacular way to bring David Boreanaz back to our screens.
11. I'm thankful for my sister. (I know I said family before, but she deserves a second mention!)
12. I'm thankful for the many awesome e-pubs we've got right now. Thanks for giving me something special to read.
13. I'm thankful for Celia Kyle who is the angel who designed this website and is always willing to help with webby problems. Check out her fantastically-priced design offers here. She does everything from book ads to websites to uploading plugins.
I'm sure I've left out LOTS, but that's the basic gist of it.
So THANK YOU!
