Current mood:  peaceful
I write songs mainly in the car.  I wrote "Already Mad" -- physically wrote the lyrics on a legal pad -- while driving.  I don't recommend you do this.  These days if I'm desperate to remember something, I use a tape recorder.

I wrote "Quiet" tonight on the drive home.  It's the kind of song I don't often write:  simple, positive, hopeful, peaceful, loving.  There's no angst in it.  It's a morning song.  We all need those occasionally.
