The following list contains resources that will help you find the perfect book to read next, according to your interests and/or life circumstances:

- Biblio File - Librarian's blog, focusing on young adult and children's literature.

- Book Lust - 'A community for people who love books'; author interviews, book reviews, book-related blogs, & so much more!

- Favourite Teenage Angst - discover books by categories (eg., diary-ish, fitting in, mixed-up families, sex and love, etc.), authors, or the message board. Lots of great links.

- Good Reads - It's a social networking site, very much like MySpace or Facebook, but with a focus on books. Awesome way to meet new people and new books!

- Novelist - a free online fiction database, and by far the most helpful and informative resource available. You can search your favourite authors/novels to find similar ones, search by subject, find reviews, book club discussions, and tons more! This amazing database is available through the library's computers, but you can also access it from home if you have a library card. Just go to our website, hover your cursor over 'Catalogue,' then click on 'Online Databases'. Novelist is third from the top, and you'll be prompted to enter your Patron ID, which is the barcode number on your library card.

Once you have a list of books you'd like to check out, come on over to the library and we'd love to help you find them!
