The God Machine, a truly wonderful stand out band.
A friend and me did an interview with them at a small club (The Wherehouse?) they played in Derby, England in the early 90's. They were not just a great great band but really humble genuine friendly guys. It was so sad how things turned out, so sad. My last memory of Jimmy was at a festival that Vince Power of Reading Festival/Mean Fiddler fame tried to establish in Stratford (Phoenix Festival?) back in those days. He was alone and making his way to the stage as the sun went down, to do what he did/loved best, play music with his friends. I held them all in great esteem, for their loyalty, their achingly beautiful soaring sounds and ultimately for being just like you and me, people who cared deeply about and who loved being around their friends.

God bless TGM!
