Current mood:Disillusioned
For as long as I can remember I've wondered why most residential bathroom tiles are set out in a most hapazard manner. Whenever I had occassion to spend time in the restroom (and I didn't have reading material), I would try to connect the tiles together to form some sort of pattern, but it just doesn't work. There is no pattern to be discerned. Today I had an epiphany. It would be simple enough to lay tiles out in a pattern. But the tile-layers purposely randomize it to give people who are bored in the restroom something to do. I can appreciate that, but I wish they had laid it out orderly so I didn't spend my childhood unsuccessfully trying to make order out of disorder.
