ANNE DENNY February 23, 2008 12:00am THANK goodness for Abba. A stirring rendition of Waterloo - complete with one blonde and one brunette - helped put the Broadway Babies back on track
Dorothy's never been like this before as the ever-so-caring Doctor and Dotty's own wicked witch whisk her through a show peppered with Broadway tunes, a liberal smattering of Abba favourites and the puzzling metamorphosis of poor little Toto.
The girls' voices soar through the snazzily arranged numbers and at one stage the show rollicks along before yet another intermission throws the rhythm.
The show stumbles a little but the singing never does and helps carry it through to an end guaranteed to ensure a little audience participation.
