I search the media for some alternative narrative on what is happening with the global financial crisis. Largely the proposed 'solution' is simply to stimulate market 'confidence' and we'll be back and running again. Having said this I get no sense from the mainstream politicians that they really know what is going to happen and seem to be hostages to fortune. If the current injections of cash from the respective governments dont work then what? When a comparable thing  happened  in 1929 we ended up with a decade of depression, fascism and a world war. It always is the people at the bottom for the risks taken by those in control of the financial markets. The labour government semms to be rallying to save capitalism as it appears to be showing signs of being in deathn throes. Who really know what is about to happen
