News Letter v51.0

03.15.09

Hello

It has been a busy 2 ½ months at camp WTII.  We have a new signing, a new album set for release and our first tour of 2009.  Now it’s on to the news for March, The Gothsicles edition...

WTII WELCOMES THE GOTHSICLES...
We are proud to announce the signing of The Gothsicles to the WTII roster.

The Gothsicles mastermind, darkNES, brings his high energy, video game infused mayhem to a new home with his upcoming release Sega Lugosi’s Dead.  The Gothsicles burst onto the scene in 2003 with a massive live show and a style of EBM that is unmatched.  Over the next three years, The Gothsicles played numerous shows and conventions across the globe building a cult like fan base that lead to their debut release, NESferatu.  Fast forward to 2009, The Gothsicles are again prepared to strike with a new album, Sega Lugosi’s Dead scheduled for release on March 31st; a new digital only remix EP, and a Midwest and East coast tour kicking off on March 27th.

FREE GOTHSICLES DOWNLOAD EP...
The Gothsicles and www.vampirefreaks.com have joined forces to offer an exclusive remix EP, NESferaTWO.  This four song EP is the companion to their debut, NESferatu and contains the soon to be infamous Assemblage 23 remix of “Mix This Song Into A23's "Maps of Reality."  Other remixers include Greyhound, Beta Virus and DJ psych0tron.  Download your copy today at www.vampirefreaks.com.

In support of their upcoming release, Sega Lugosi’s Dead, The Gothsicles are hitting the road on a two week tour of the ..Midwest.. and East Coast.  Joining them on this jaunt will be Caustic and Prometheus Burning.  For a complete list of dates keep reading on or check out the live tab on our website.

RELEASES IN STORES...

WTII048 STATE OF THE UNION    EVOL LOVE INDUSTRY     OUT NOW!
Johann Sebastian and State of the ..Union.. have come storming back onto the scene with their 3rd full length album, Evol Love Industry.  Released in February, Evol Love Industry showcases SOTU’s signature mix of hard-hitting electronic beats, haunting ballads and symphonic orchestrations.  Tracks like “Dead Serious”, “Fall From Grace” and “Radioman” have been tearing up the charts and make this release their most club accessible release to date.  Don’t be left behind, pick up your copy of Evol Love Industry today...

WTII049 MONSTRUM SEPSIS                ARTIFACTS                   OUT NOW!
Monstrum Sepsis’ latest release, Artifacts, is an eclectic mix of tribal drums, organic electronics and intoxicating synths.  Unlike most bands within the genre, Monstrum Sepsis places a heavy emphasis on melody and structure.  This signature Monstrum Sepsis sound is evident from the opening bars of “Smoke ‘em,” to the powerful undertones in “Glimpse” and then carries through to the harmonious “Wit’s End Persistence.”  In addition to the sonic soundscapes, Artifacts spices things up with some politically charged samples that reflect the current world moods and trends. These political affairs are exposed in the thought provoking and intelligent tracks “Opus Dictum,” “Squelch” and “War of Ideas.” The new Monstrum Sepsis will not disappoint and will appeal to fans of IDM and power noise.

WTII051  THE THOUGHT CRIMINALS      DIE YOUNG: STAY PRETTY        OUT NOW!
Die Young: Stay Pretty, is the debut release from the South London Duo, The Thought Criminals.  Their sound can only be described as an EBM laced Sci-fi / 80’s / Electro Punk montage.  Programmer/Musician Kirlian Blue, supplies the backdrop for frontman Rocky Goode’s tongue & cheek vocals.  Die Young: Stay Pretty, is a 10 track album which contains 3 bona fide singles:  The catchy pop hit “(I’m Gonna Be a) Celebrity,” the old school EBM “Date Rape Lovers” and the explosive “My Baby’s a Suicide Bomber.”  In addition to the album tracks, Die Young: Stay Pretty, includes seven bonus remixes that will be sure to pack dance floors across the globe.
