Hi guys!!!
It's time to keep you updated on what's happening with Dreamshade. Things are really going at it's finest and there will be great news soon.
But let's begin with some words about the last months:
This summer we had some really nice gigs where we managed to draw a large crowd.
We started first with some Open Airs in our country, which were a real success.
We also played some good concerts in Italy and headlined in Germany. All the shows were cool, we had a lot of fun and we recorded some crazy video footage that you'll see soon in a promo video.
The main concerts we had this summer are, of course, the international festivals we went to: Metal Camp Open Air 2009 in Slovenia (with Lamb Of God, Dimmu Borgir, Hatebreed, Dragonforce, Nightwish and more...) and Summer Breeze Open Air 2009 (in Germany, Dinkelsbühl, with Amon Amarth, Opeth, Kreator, Volbeat and more...).
The crowd was probably the biggest we ever played in front to. It was really exciting and satisfying, and we enjoyed ourselves! We already played last year at Metal Camp Open Air 2008 and it was cool, but this year we had the honor to play on the main stage and to share it with the legendary and incredible bands that played after us, the crowd was horny of getting into the pit, to raise their horns and to make some noise... and it was huge! Also in the party tent at Summer Breeze it was full of people, getting crazy straight after we started to play: the warm hearty welcome we had was awesome and we want to thank all those guys! Also, we met a lot of cool people from major bands, magazines, labels, photographers, promoters.. .. and we partied with some really great fans, too! At Summer breeze we met Anthony Dubois, one of the best photographers kicking around, who took us some unbelieveble photos. http://www.myspace...com/roots_vc Thank you brother! We felt good in that professional atmosphere on stage/backstage and hanging around at those amazing festivals, and we are minded to take part to a lot more of them next year and in the future. We feel like all our dreams are really becoming true.
We are also really grateful to all our supporters, friends, fans, family, bands. Thank you for being part of our project.

Ok.. now some fresh news:
Today/yesterday we started recording our upcoming album “What Silence Hides”. We will be in studio until the end of october and will then mix the whole thing abroad the first week of december. We feel good in this awesome studio and are sure that the final result will blast your ears! The people we are working with are good fellas and really have a professional way to work. It's a pleasure to record the upcoming album with such great people.
Sera finished recording drums and Rocco will start with guitars thursday.
