People do not like to be sold, they like to come up with the idea themselves. So how do you make a living, if your income depends on if people buy from you or join your team?
Well, if you have ever made cold calls, you have experienced just how cold people can be. Think about it…how nice would it be if people were calling, emailing, faxing you, instead of you doing that to them?! When people are trying to get a hold of you, you are now in a position of authority.
If you want to stand out from the rest, you must position yourself as a professional, not a "needy" and "pushy" salesman.
So how do you get into that kind of position where people actually want to talk with you and get your opinion? A place where you magnetically attract them to you.
1. You have got to know stuff. It doesn't do any good if you have all these leads or people coming to you, if you don't have the right info to give to them.
So do your homework, add value to yourself by knowing more than the person you are talking to.
2. Take the time to learn what you need to know about advertising and getting your name out there. Learn how to use Google Adwords, use the right blogs that will show up on the organic search engines. Invest in good Domain names. Get capture pages with good auto responders up and running.
3. Position yourself as a professional by giving good material or info to people, teach people how to succeed. You do this and they will not only trust you, but they will want to join you in whatever business you are doing.
4. Get rid of the stuff that holds you back. Get rid of doubt, fear, unworthiness and the crap that keeps you from moving forward and succeeding in life.
